Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Book Melbourne Cabs, we value your time and understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure fairness and transparency for all our customers, we have outlined our cancellation and refund policy below.

Cancellations

  • Advance Bookings: If you need to cancel a booking, please notify us at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. No cancellation fee will apply in this case.
  • Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may incur a fee equivalent to the base fare.
  • No-Show: If the passenger does not arrive at the pick-up location without prior cancellation, the full fare amount will be charged.

Refunds

  • Prepaid Bookings: For rides cancelled in accordance with our cancellation window, a full refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 5–7 business days.
  • Late Cancellations or No-Show: Refunds will not be issued for cancellations outside the permitted window or in case of a no-show.
  • Service Disruption: If a booking is cancelled by Book Melbourne Cabs due to unforeseen circumstances (such as vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, or driver unavailability), customers will receive a full refund.

If you wish to reschedule your booking, please contact our support team as early as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to vehicle availability.
